Social impact

The Paco Foundation

The Quarantainer

Founder & director · 2020–2022

When the pandemic brought my business to a standstill, I set up The Paco Foundation within two weeks, together with Paco, a terminally ill member of my team, to do something good in a time of need.

Our answer was a transparent mobile meeting room with an airtight partition and an audio connection, so care home residents and patients could safely see and talk to their loved ones. I led production, planning and the collaboration with municipalities and care organisations. The project drew international attention.

Geef Couleur

Producer · during the pandemic

I used my experience as a producer to give shelters for homeless people in Amsterdam a complete make-over. I coordinated festival builders, volunteers and care organisations to create a warm, colourful and dignified place to live for the residents.

It brought the event world and the social sector together, and proved that creative production can contribute to inclusion and connection in the city.

Innovation

Dutch quantum technology ecosystem

Quantum Delta NL

Production & design · 2020–2026

I organised and produced innovation and tech events for the Dutch quantum technology ecosystem, and was responsible for the full production and design of its B2B events. Complex content, a demanding audience, and an experience that had to feel both serious and inviting.
