I turn ambitious ideas into well-run projects, for brands, organisers and changemakers alike.
My path started in professional kitchens. That is where I learned to plan backwards from a deadline, keep a team calm under pressure and deliver every plate as if it were the only one. Events turned out to need exactly the same thing, on a bigger scale.
For ten years I built Eventcare into a leading event agency in the Netherlands. Now I work independently, as Trooster Projects. I take on fewer projects, lead them myself, and choose more often for work that makes a positive difference.

How I got here
The kitchen
Five years as a chef
I started in Amsterdam’s restaurants: setting up the kitchen at TonTon Club West, head chef at Caffè Milo and Lempicka, and freelance chef across the city.
The switch
Into events
My passion for music and working with people brought me into events. Freelancing at Shoeless, Chasing the Hihat and HENK op de Helling, among others, opened a new chapter.
2013–2019
Building my own
With others I co-founded Nightcare: our own events, club nights and festival hosting, plus artist management and bookings.
2016–2026
Eventcare
In 2016 I founded Eventcare, which grew into a leading event agency in the Netherlands.

The next chapter: an independent project studio for organisations that make a positive difference.

Ten years of Eventcare
I built Eventcare into a full-service partner for event production, crew management and technical coordination: festivals, corporate events, cultural projects and brand activations, from concept to delivery.
- Led multidisciplinary teams in production, logistics and staffing.
- Managed budgets, contracts, insurance and staffing structures.
- Built lasting client relationships, from Studio Roosegaarde to WINK.
- Launched new formats, including hybrid productions.
